L.E.A.D. Holiday Fundraising

The holidays are a time for community, compassion, and giving back — and this year, the L.E.A.D. Foundation is excited to launch two special initiatives to support families across the Capital Region: our Holiday Raffle and the Troy Giving Tree.

Both programs directly benefit local students and ensure that every child in our schools feels seen, supported, and celebrated this holiday season.


THE TROY GIVING TREE

Helping Troy Middle School Students Have a Brighter Holiday

Inside Aspire Athletic Club, you’ll find our Troy Middle School Giving Tree — decorated with tags representing students who could use a little extra help this year.

Each tag lists a simple wish:

  • Winter clothing

  • School supplies

  • Hygiene items

  • Small gifts to make their holiday special

How it works:

  1. Choose a tag from the tree

  2. Purchase the item(s) listed

  3. Return the gift unwrapped to Aspire’s lobby by December 15th

  4. We deliver everything directly to Troy Middle School students in need

A single tag may seem small — but for a child, it can change their entire holiday.

THE L.E.A.D. HOLIDAY RAFFLE

Win big while giving back to our kids

This year’s Holiday Raffle is packed with prizes donated by local businesses, Aspire members, and program supporters.

Every ticket purchased directly funds L.E.A.D. programming — including fitness training, wellness education, mentorship, and after-school activities for underserved youth in Troy and Schenectady.

Raffle Highlights:

  • Fitness packages

  • Local restaurant gift cards

  • Sports gear

  • Apparel

  • Specialty items from community partners

  • Aspire Athletic Club memberships & training sessions

When you buy a ticket, you’re not just entering to win — you’re helping a student access life-changing programs built around confidence, leadership, and wellness.
