Give Local This Holiday Season: How the Capital Region Comes Together to Lift Each Other Up (AS SEEN ON WNYT NEWS CHANNEL 13)

The holiday season reminds us what truly matters: family, faith, and community. It’s the season of giving, of showing love through action, and of remembering that sometimes the greatest impact we can make is right in our own backyard.

The Capital Region is filled with incredible nonprofits doing real work for real families. These organizations don’t just exist on paper, they’re in our schools, our neighborhoods, and our hearts. They rely on the generosity of local people to survive, and every dollar stays right here in our community, creating an immediate impact on our neighbors.

Every student participates completely free at no cost to families or schools. In just one year, we’ve raised over $100,000 to support youth wellness and community impact initiatives across the Capital Region.
Give Local
The holidays are when nonprofits feel the biggest need for food, coats, essentials, and emotional support. Right now, families in Albany, Troy, and Schenectady are depending on local organizations like these. When you give local, you’re feeding a child, supporting a parent, fueling a dream, and changing a life. You're helping your own community rise, one act of kindness at a time. We have incredible nonprofits right here at home. If you’re going to give this holiday season, give local because the impact stays right here in the Capital Region.
